Here's the first teaser trailer for Michael Winterbottom's Everyday, posted by TIFF (via The Film Stage):
Winterbottom's Everyday tells the story of four children separated from their father, and a wife separated from her husband. The father, Ian (Simm), is in prison. The mother, Karen, (Henderson) has to bring up a family of four children by herself. Filmed over a period of five years a few weeks at a time, Everyday uses the repetitions and rhythms of everyday life to explore how a family can survive a prolonged period apart.
Everyday is directed by acclaimed British filmmaker Michael Winterbottom, of films like Wonderland, In This World, The Claim, 24 Hour Party People, Code 46, The Road to Guantanamo, A Mighty Heart, The Killer Inside Me, The Trip and Trishna most recently. The screenplay is by Winterbottom and Laurence Coriat. This is premiering at the Toronto Film Festival next month, be on the lookout for reviews from there.
