Fully Steampunk'd Trailer for Stephen Fung's 'Tai Chi 0' Film

Tai Chi 0 trailer
"Intro 101: how to become a Kung-Fu Hero." Oh the brazen humor in this. A few weeks ago we brought you an awesome teaser trailer for Stephen Fung's Tai Chi 0, a kung fu/tai chi martial arts-meets-steampunk action flick starring Xiao-chao Yuan as Yang Luchan, plus Angelababy, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Daniel Wu and Qi Shu. Following that teaser, a Taiwanese full theatrical trailer has been unveiled, and it kicks plenty of ass, especially if you love dub-step and steampunk and tai chi. This film is premiering at TIFF in Toronto next month, and in theaters October. Even if you have no idea what it's about, check out the trailer.

Here's the full theatrical Taiwanese trailer for Stephen Fung's Tai Chi 0, found via Vlicious:

Young genius Yang Luchan travels to Chen Village to learn the forbidden secrets of martial arts, but learns that the village is menaced by a formidable battalion of Steampunk soldiers. The villagers realize that in order to save their home, they must trust this strange outsider with their knowledge of Tai Chi.

Tai Chi 0 is directed by Hong Kong actor-turned-filmmaker Stephen Fung, who directed the films Enter the Phoenix, House of Fury and Jump previously. The screenplay was written by Kuo-fu Chen (Double Vision, The Message, Detective Dee). The film is premiering at TIFF this fall, but was already picked up by Well Go USA for release. Tai Chi 0 will hit theaters in 3D on October 16th, followed up by its sequel Tai Chi Hero.
