First Trailer for 'Young@Heart' Style Drama 'Song for Marion'

Song for Marion Trailer
If you haven't seen the touching documentary Young@Heart, get a box of tissues, and give it a watch. But if documentaries aren't your thing, you might get the same emotional journey out of the new film "Song for Marion", playing at TIFF 2012 this month. The film follows Arthur, a bit of a grumpy old man (Terence Stamp), who has little reason to smile anymore when his wife Marion (Vanessa Redgrave) becomes terminally ill. While Marion still finds joy singing with an elderly choir (singing unconventional songs for their age like Let's Talk About Sex and Ace of Spades) it's going to take more to cheer up Arthur. Watch it!

Here's the trailer for Paul Andrew Williams Song for Marion from HeyUGuys:

When his beloved wife (Vanessa Redgrave) falls ill, a curmudgeonly retiree (Terence Stamp) must take her place in the local seniors’ choir. Gemma Arterton also stars in the film as the choir director and Christopher Eccleston plays Arthur's estranged son James. Paul Andrew Williams wrote and directed Song for Marion which premieres at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival this month and hits theaters in the United Kingdom sometime this year. No release date has been set yet for the United States, so stay tuned for more.
