Stunning Cannes Sizzle Reel for P.T. Anderson's 'The Master'

The Master Trailer
If you haven't taken the time to see Paul Thomas Anderon's film The Master (especially in 70mm) you're missing out on what will surely be a huge awards contender when the time comes. Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman put in phenomenal performances that by themselves are  worth a trip to the theater. But if you need more convincing, here's a stellar piece of footage that was shown as a sizzle reel at Cannes earlier this summer. The best thing about this footage though, is there's scenes that didn't make the final cut. That has me excited to see what deleted scenes there are on Blu-Ray/DVD. Watch!

Here's the final NSFW Cannes sizzle reel for PTA's The Master, originally found via HeyUGuys:

A 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as "the Master" whose faith-based organization begins to catch on, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man.

Paul Thomas Anderson (the man behind films like Boogie Nights, Magnolia, There Will Be Blood) wrote and directed The Master. The film follows Lancaster Dodd (Philip Seymour Hoffman) a charismatic leader who creates a new religion in the 1950's and his main disciple (Joaquin Phoenix), an alcoholic drifter named Freddie Sutton who becomes Dodd's closest follower, only to later break away from his teachings. The Master is playing all over the country and has some exclusive 70mm screenings in various markets. Good?
