Eerie First Trailer for Fanastic Fest Documentary 'The Conspiracy'

The Conspiracy first trailer
"Which one of us is really crazy?" Here's another trailer for a dark, weird, wacky Fantastic Fest film. It's a documentary called The Conspiracy, that starts out following a conspiracy theorist, but gets crazy quick when he disappears. This is kind of like if they combined Catfish and Kill List and Conspiracy Theory. Made by Christopher MacBride and starring Aaron Poole and James Gilbert, this doc explores conspiracy theories to the extreme; even the filmmakers get in over their heads. I'd actually love to see this is if I were attending Fantastic Fest, as I'm intrigued by what the heck is going on, and what the big twist/reveal is. Check it out!

Here's the first trailer for Christopher MacBride's The Conspiracy, debuted by AICN (via SlashFilm):

Two young documentary filmmakers are drawn into a shadowy world of secret societies when the subject of their film simply disappears. Have his investigations led to his demise? For more, go to Fantastic Fest.

Christopher MacBride's The Conspiracy is a documentary about conspiracy theories that takes a horrific turn after the filmmakers uncover an ancient and dangerous secret society. Sounds like a twist. MacBride previously wrote and directed a short called Sleep Lab. His new film, The Conspiracy, will be premiering at Fantastic Fest this month, so stay tuned for feedback and any other details. Curious to find out more?
