John Carpenter's 'Halloween' Re-Release Launches a Teaser Trailer

Halloween trailer
The terrifying classic returns to theaters! Michael Myers is back and ready to kill, again. 35 years after the original release of the film, John Carpenter's horror classic Halloween is back, hitting theaters the same opening weekend this year. The news was announced a couple of weeks ago with a new teaser poster, but an official teaser trailer has just debuted, and can be seen below. Jamie Lee Curtis stars in this, along with Donald Pleasence as Dr. Loomis, P. J. Soles, Nancy Loomis, and Tony Moran (plus Nick Castle) as Myers. We know what to expect with this, and it's only a short tease, but still a fun classic re-release. Enjoy!

Teaser trailer for the re-release of John Carpenter's Halloween, from YouTube (via Bloody-Disgusting):

John Carpenter's Halloween was originally released on October 25th, 1978, earning an impressive $47 million at the box office. The film is being re-released this Halloween, starting from October 25th to the 31st, with select screenings. John Carpenter's original horror classic will also be screening with special mini-documentary You Can't Kill The Boogeyman: 35 Years of Halloween. On Halloween 1963, six year old Michael Myers murders his older sister by stabbing her with a kitchen knife. Fifteen years later, he escapes from a psychiatric hospital, returns home, and stalks teenager Laurie Strode and her friends. A listing of theaters showing the Halloween re-release can be found on screenvision.com. Anyone going to attend?
