"You never told me why you guys broke up." When Channing Tatum is in it, he's the top selling point, I guess. Even in an ensemble comedy over Rosario Dawson and Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Lynn Collins and Kate Mara and Justin Long and Ron Livingston and Anthony Mackie and Ari Graynor, even Aubrey Plaza. They're all in this, too. Jamie Linden's 10 Years is a charming ensemble comedy about a high school reunion and its got the perfect cast of stars to make it ever so magical. This comes off a lot more sweet than it does comedic, with some more romantic and fun moments in the later half. Not so bad. Enjoy!
Here's the first official trailer for Jamie Linden's 10 Years, originally from Yahoo:
Follows a group of friends on the night of their high school reunion who, a decade later, still haven't quite grown up. Channing Tatum plays Jake, who is deeply in love with his girlfriend (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and ready to propose—until he runs into his high school flame (Rosario Dawson) for the first time in ten years.
10 Years is both written and directed by American filmmaker and FSU graduate Jamie Linden, making her feature directorial debut after writing We Are Marshall, Dear John and Dogs of Babel. This was produced independently, premiered at TIFF last year, and Anchor Bay is releasing it in theaters on September 14th.
