Following in the footsteps of the multiple design contests for The Dark Knight Rises, a new design contest has launched for The Hobbit. This one, being run entirely by Warner Bros, is called the "Treasures of Middle-Earth Design Contest" and is open to all kinds of different artwork, from sketches to weapons to location and landscapes. Judging the contest are legendary concept artists from LOTR/The Hobbit, John Howe and Alan Lee, and Weta founder Richard Taylor. If you're a die-hard Tolkien/Hobbit geek and have been sketching photos of Bilbo and Gollum in your notebook all day, this is the perfect contest for you!
