Martin Freeman and Eddie Marsan Join Pegg & Frost in 'World's End'

Martin Freeman and Eddie Marsan Join Pegg & Frost in 'World's End'
After taking some time for a couple of small roles in both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, it looks like Martin Freeman is teaming up with director Edgar Wright and his comedy pair Simon Pegg and Nick Frost again. Variety has word that the "Sherlock" and Love Actually star has joined The World's End in an unknown role. In addition, Sherlock Holmes star Eddie Marsan has also landed a role alongside other co-stars Paddy Considine and Rosamund Pike. Of course, this is a big year for Freeman as the actor will be seen this winter in the first part of The Hobbit trilogy and he was nominated for an Emmy for "Sherlock."

The third part of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy just wouldn't feel right without Freeman since he appeared in the first two installments. Hopefully we can expect other regulars to show up. For those just joining us, the film fiollows five childhood friends (Pegg and Frost are definitely two of the friends, but we're not sure if Freeman, Marsan and Considine are the other three) who reunite after 20 years. They are convinced to re-stage a legendary night of drinking by Pegg's character, a 40-year-old man eternally trying to relive his teenage years. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realise the real struggle is for the future. The film just started shooting across the pond so stay tuned as more updates arrive.
